About the designer:
Allan Scharff ’s (1945- ) simple pieces could not be more different from the romantic, arts and craft style of Georg Jensen. His work is functional, aesthetic and often with a touch of humour. However, they both spring from the same source, nature. Georg Jensen always claimed that nature was his greatest inspiration. The same is true for Scharff. During the years Scharff has received many awards and his work has been exhibited worldwide.
